I have many years of experience initiating, leading and participating in small and medium sized projects following the ideas and strategy from business leadership. Projects are driven by senior managers who have the authority and funds. I can guide you through what can be a maze to realise these visions. From the first stages of checking and confirming that the project is feasible and can deliver the required benefits. By Planning, identifying costs, time and scope, execution and finally closing down to your satisfaction, I can make your projects a success.


I am happy to manage projects using any method that may be required to follow company standards and/or policy. If you are open and have no general policy, I use the Prince2™ method, in which I am a certified practitioner. This is flexible and can be used and tailored as required for projects of all types, size and complexity.


Using project management skills and methods I will ensure that you have as much or as little involvement as you require. Together we will define the requirements and tolerances and leave your senior managers to get on with their daily work of running your business.


Involvement of stakeholders is important. A senior representative ensures that the end products fit in with your company strategy and needs.  A junior representative tests that the functionality is fit for purpose and that it is usable. This could be a process or a computer system. They need to be involved at an early stage to get maximum effect and be cost effective by minimizing expensive changes later in the project.


Benefits to costs are a major factor in deciding on allowing a project to progress or not. During and after projects I will look to identify possibilities to reduce cost without impacting on quality.
